- OM-FBS-22-MLC is an external fiber bypass switch for critical
optical-nodes in optical network system.
- When intended or unexpected power loss occurs, it helps swiftly
bypass the device it connects and avoids failure of the whole
optical communication.
- Bypass switches are commonly used in some major optical networks
involving ring connection and multiple devices such as in railway
communication systems, factory automation and important optical
nodes where fiber link failures are intolerable.

switch;

- The Fiber Bypass is a power-off protection device, and the optical
fiber can be switched only when the equipment is power-off.

- On: Power normal, Off: Power off/wrong
- SW1: Bypass operation status indicator 1
- SW2: Bypass operating status indicator 2
- A set of optical switches: SW1 or SW2 indicator (Random) will be
lit
