    Application of 90W BT PoE Switch


    FAQ


    • Max 720W POE budget, each Ethernet port supports POE af/at/bt

    It is OK to adjust the POE output via management.

    Eg: In one testing, you could make Ethernet port 1~8 POE bt 90W.

    In another, port 1~4 POE bt 90W and port 5~8 POE at 30W or without POE.

    There are usually 4 tiers of POE outputs in actual application.

    15.4W/30W/60W/90W, all supported and adjustable via management.


    • With POE indicator

    Green when POE is working.

    Off when POE is disabled.


    • With 2 alarm ports, it is used to monitor any 2 ports working status

    It is OK to monitor any 2 ports(fiber or Ethernet) via management.

    Same as above example, management allows you to adjust the port combination.

    Eg: one alarm setup is Ethernet 5 port and the other one is fiber 1 port.

    Please note that, in this case if Ethernet 6 port is down, alarm port gives no response.

    Another way of setup is click all ports(fiber/Ethernet), see below interface

    then any port is down, the alarm port turns red.


    • Support Ring

    This could be configured via STP or ERPS.

    Based on 2-SFP ring(the most basic format)

    6~7 switches are OK in one loop if it goes STP ring.

    Principally countless ones if it is by ERPS.


    • Power Supply

    It can continuously supply POE++ power to PD devices for 8 UTP ports(excluding combo ports).

    This requires a min. 15A power supply if it is full-load(48V*15A=720W).

    But in actual application, we do not suggest connecting too many power-hungry devices to a single switch, this will affect the stability.
